Troubleshooting: Brought new heatsink and fan. Took thermal paste off CPU with appropriate cleaning fluid and repasted CPU and fitted heatsink and fan. Booted PC, fans came on, MOBO light on, but no POST beep and no signal. Checked PSU with PSU tester and it appeared faulty. Replaced PSU and tested it with PSU tester and all appeared fine. As is expected the fans spin at top speed whilst gaming, especially when running more demanding games. This has always been the case since the first day I had this laptop. Now since the last couple of days, the fans are no longer spinning at top speed when running said games, but are spinning slower instead between 60 and 80 of total speed. There could be multiple prognoses, but it is a rare occurrance for a card fan to spin freely but not spin on its own,. at least that deducts the dust and/or obstruction variable which is most.

Clean the graphic cards with isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs. Especially the GPU area and PCIe pins. Unplug the 4-pin VGA fan power cable, clean the pins and replug it. When you#x27;re done, reapply thermal paste on the GPU, remount the heatsink, plug it back in. Download and install the latest drivers from AMD#x27;s website.

If you have problems with brown-outs or voltage flux this can damage the MB. Perhaps you need a UPS with a large battery to better protect your PC.
